Race-Withdrawal-Protection FREIBURG MARATHON 2012
What if you get ill shortly before the start of the event?Your fees for the start (starter fee) will be paid back to you from the race-withdrawal-protection not only in case of sickness, but also in case of an accident, unemployment or considerable damage to property.

Medal engraving
All finishers receive a medal after arriving at the finish line. On the 1st of April 2012 from 14:00 until 18:00, directly next to the chip return area at the marathon fair, you can have your medal engraved with your name and your time for the price of 8.00 Euros. You will receive pre-ordered medal engravings as a voucher in your starter bag. Please present your voucher when having your medal engraved.Noodle party
Every runner gets one plate of pasta for free. You will find the voucher in your starting documents. The noodle party will be held at the Messe Freiburg. You can redeem your voucher on Saturday, the 31st of March 2012 (12:00 - 19:00) and on Sunday the 1st of April 2012 (11:00 - 18:00).Change and shower
You will find possibilities to change and shower in fair hall 2 of the Messe Freiburg.Pacemaker
There will be pacemakers for the following marathon finishing times: 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15 hours. The pacemakers will run at a consistent pace (consistent average of kilometres) and will be marked with colourful balloons.Clothing drop off
Before the start you can drop off your sports bag in hall 1 and 2 of the Messe Freiburg on the Sunday of the marathon. The clothing drop off will be opened from 8:00 until 17:30. Please follow the signs posted. Please take in to account the time it takes to drop off your bag. After the run you will get your sportswear back by presenting the race number in hall 1 and 2.Toilets
There will be several sanitary facilities at the start/finish area. Please also use the toilets in the foyer of the fair. During the race you will find mobile toilets every 2.5 kilometres, always after the food/drinks station.Food and drinks
On the course: Starting at km 5 there will be refreshment stations every 2.5 kilometres (only water). Every 5 km: food and drinks stations with organic bananas and "VISPOaktiv" organic energy bars, water and isotonic drinks.At the finish line: Organic bananas, "VISPOaktiv" organic energy bars, pastries, non-alcoholic beer, water and isotonic drinks.
Private refreshments
Drop off of private drinks (exclusively in plastic bottles) is on Saturday the 31st of March 2012 and on marathon Sunday the 1st of April 2012 until 09:00 at the latest at the information stand of the marathon fair. Private refreshments will be placed on the first tables of the refreshment stations on the right towards running direction. The organiser accepts no liability in case of loss or damage.Use of public transportation
The starting number / confirmation of participation authorises participants to use trains (2nd class), busses and trams for the regular service of transport companies of the Regio-Verkehrsbund Freiburg (RVF). It entitles to a one-off trip from the event and to the event at the earliest three hours prior to it.Supporting programme
Marathon fair, marathon party, programme of action along the course with 42 bands of various styles of music.Photo service
At the latest 4 days after the event, personal photos and your personal video can be seen and ordered at www.marathon-photos.com.Evaluation of results / certificates
Every finisher has the possibility to print his or her certificate on the day of the marathon until 19:00 at www.marathon-freiburg.com.Certificates will not be delivered by mail. The list of results can also be seen at www.marathon-freiburg.com.Physiotherapeutic care / massages
There will be free massages in hall 2 after the run from the physiotherapists team of P.u.L.Z. im Rieselfeld.Medicalcare
A medical staff will ensure medical care on the course and at the start/finish.
