TIME MEASUREMENT

Times at the FREIBURG MARATHON will be measured exclusively using the ChampionChip. The ChampionChip is an electronic transponder, which will measure your personal time. The finishers will be evaluated according to their net running time (real running time).

Please attach the chip to the lacing of your shoe (do not tie with metal), because otherwise there will not be a time measurement. You can:

1. rent a Single Use Chip

The rental charges for the single-use chip amount to 6.00 Euros. It will be charged to you with your registration. For environmental reasons, we kindly ask you to return the chip to the chip-return at the marathon fair by 18:00 on the day of the event.

2. use your own ChampionChip

Please state the number of your chip when registering if you possess your own ChampionChip!

3. buy a ChampionChip

You can buy a ChampionChip for 31.00 Euros and use it as often as you want.

There is no time measurement and evaluation without the ChampionChip!
