Handover Points
Four runners share the course of the marathon at the 9th FREIBURG MARATHON. The tracks vary between 7 and 14 kilometres. The switch exclusively takes place at the handover points, which are marked with signs and separated into blocks of starting numbers.
The ChampionChip will be attached to a Velcro tape and used as "baton". The chip will be handed over by the relay runners at the handover points.

The handover points are located in such a way that they are easily reached by public transportation. The travel cost with the Regio-Verkehrsbund Freiburg (RVF) is included in the entry fee. The starting number authorises free use of the RVF. From Messe Freiburg (start and finish area) you can reach the handover point Karlsplatz the quickest by S-Bahn Breisgau, station Hauptbahnhof. Travel time 5 minutes.
