Race numbers

Every team takes part with a race number (7 numbers, one race number per runner) and a baton. The race number authorises carrier to use the RVF for free and serves to identify team members at the handover points. The baton will be handed over at the handover points. The starting documents with the race numbers and the baton can be picked up in the organisation office in Freiburg on the 15th and 16th of March or will be sent to you by mail. Please choose between "Pick up - free" and "Delivery (plus 2.50 Euros postage)" at the registration for the S´COOL RUN.

• Delivery per mail is on the 15th of March 2012.
• The pick-up point is in Kaiser-Joseph-Str. 274, 79098 Freiburg. Opening hours: Thursday the 15th of March 2012, 16:00 - 18:00, Fridaythe 16th of March 2012, 14:00 - 17:00

Entry fee

The organisation fee for the S'COOL RUN is 35,00 ? (Fee incl. 19 % VAT)

Closing date is the 12th of March 2012 at midnight.

Part tracks

The length of the various part tracks varies between 1.8 and 4.2 kilometres per student. Together, a students relay runs the entire course of the half marathon on the original course of the Freiburg Marathon - through the most beautiful parts of Freiburg, passing 42 bands.

Team

Students relay: A team consist of 7 students of the same grade. A school can also register more than one relay per grade. Boys and girls relays will be evaluated separately.
Teachers relay: A team consists of 7 teachers from the same school.

Noodle party

Every runner of the S'COOL RUN receives one plate of pasta for free. The vouchers will be included in the starting documents. The noodle party takes place at the Messe Freiburg on Saturday the 31st of March 2012 (12:00 until 19:00) and on Sunday the 1st of April 2012 (11:00 until 18:00).

Change and shower

You will find possibilities to change and shower in fair hall 2 of the Messe Freiburg.

Toilets

There will be several sanitary facilities at the start/finish area. Please also use the toilets in the foyer of the fair. During the race you will find mobile toilets every 2.5 kilometres, always after the food/drinks station.

Catering S'COOL RUN

The first six participants will receive food and drinks at the finish line and at the handover points. The seventh runner receives food and drinks at the finish catering on the fair ground Freiburg.

Finish

S'COOL RUN finishes on the fairground Freiburg between 13:30and 15:00.

Evaluation

The following grades will be evaluated:
Grade 5
Grade 6
Grade 7
Grade 8
Grade 9
Grade 10
Senior grades

Mixed relays will be evaluated together with the boys relays.
Teachers relays will be evaluated separately.

Awards

The awards ceremony takes place at 15:30 in the foyer of the Messe Freiburg. Prizes included for:

• The schools with most grades participating
• The school that most loves to run: The school with the most participants in relation to the number of students
• The fastest boys and girls team per grade
• The fastest teachers relay

Evaluation of results / certificates

Every team has the possibility to print their certificate from about 20:00 on the day of the marathon at www.marathon-freiburg.com. The certificates will not be delivered per mail. The list of results can also be seen at www.marathon-freiburg.com

Medical care

A medical staff will ensure medical care on the course and at the start/finish.
